Kotbo 9.5 is out: your server gets a website, AegisAI reads the tone of messages and tickets become a support desk
2-47am

You wanted a server to hang out with your people. You ended up as tech support for six bots.

The bigger your server gets, the more you hold everything behind the scenes alone: the staff, the sanctions, the tickets. And it always hits at night

Fictional scene: a server owner’s lock screen at 2:47 a.m., without Kotbo.

Your staff finally gets an HQ, and it lives in the dashboard

Everything Kotbo does in Discord lands in the dashboard. Your staff can pull up any member’s profile, every mod’s track record and the file behind each ban

  • Recruitment

One application form, and answers land sorted in the dashboard instead of your DMs

  • Time off

Requested in Discord, approved by a superior, visible to the whole team

  • Meetings and tasks

Kotbo schedules them, sends the reminder and logs who showed up

  • Reviews

Each mod’s real activity next to their lead’s rating, so the right people get promoted

  • Hierarchy

Ranks tied to Discord roles, dashboard permissions that follow

  • Staff discipline

Mods get their own dated warnings, and demotion can kick in on its own

ai

You ask your AI, Kotbo does it on your server

Kotbo runs an MCP server. Plug it into Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini, and your AI handles tickets, pulls reports, issues sanctions and sets up the dashboard, with more than 300 tools In beta

Evening, owner

Suggestions

Example in Claude, fictional conversations. It works the same in ChatGPT and Gemini

Plugging it in takes two minutes

  1. A key

In the dashboard, open Connect an AI, then New key

  2. A URL

Paste it into your AI. In Claude it’s a custom connector, in ChatGPT an app in developer mode, in Gemini an mcp_server block

  3. A click

Kotbo asks for your key, you authorize access, and your AI can see your server

And you stay in charge

  • You pick what each key may read and do
  • Every action the AI takes is written to the dashboard log, under its key’s name
  • Revoke the key and the AI is unplugged on the spot

Your co-founder will ask you these. Here’s what to answer

Fictional conversation between you and your co-founder, Inès.
  1. Inès co-founder Today at 9:14 PM

wait before we add yet another bot. does it ask for admin?

  2. you Today at 9:14 PM

no. discord lists every permission one by one and there’s no administrator box. each perm powers a module

  3. Inès co-founder Today at 9:15 PM

and where does our data go

  4. you Today at 9:15 PM

hosted in the EU, GDPR, they have a data processing agreement. and their site runs zero trackers · the DPA

  5. Inès co-founder Today at 9:16 PM

if it breaks who do we talk to? another english support that answers in 3 days?

  6. you Today at 9:16 PM

nah, it’s the team that builds the bot, on their discord

  7. Inès co-founder Today at 9:17 PM

last thing. do members lose their mee6 levels?

  8. you Today at 9:17 PM

no we import the leaderboard. and the xp curve can match mee6’s so the tiers don’t move

  9. Inès co-founder Today at 9:18 PM

    ok go add it

faq

Still got a doubt? Fair, here are the answers

Does Kotbo really replace MEE6, Dyno, or Carl-bot?

On what they all do (moderation, levels, reaction roles, logs), yes, Kotbo does it natively. And it adds what they don't: tickets, staff management, applications, scheduling, economy. That's exactly what made you install a second bot, then a third.

Can I keep my other bots alongside it?

Yes. The one thing to watch: if two bots react to the same event (a welcome message, for example), turn off the duplicate or your members get two messages.

Can Kotbo pick up my old bot’s config?

Partly. During setup, Kotbo spots known bots already on the server (MEE6, Dyno, Carl-bot, Ticket Tool, YAGPDB, ProBot, Arcane, Tatsu, Amari, Wick, Sapphire…) and offers to pick up what's visible from Discord: level roles, log channel, ticket category. Nothing is applied until your staff confirms.

Do my members lose their levels if I switch bots?

No. The Import tab on the Levels page takes JSON (username, level, XP per member). Grab your old bot's leaderboard (export, screenshot, copy-paste), have an AI put it in the right format, paste, check the preview, done in a few minutes. Kotbo can also match its XP curve to MEE6's (public formula, reproduced within 6%) so tiers stay the same.

How much is it compared to MEE6, Dyno, or Ticket Tool?

Kotbo starts at €2.50/month (Starter, billed yearly), everything included. On the other side, count roughly €12 for MEE6, €5 for Dyno, €5 to €7 for Ticket Tool premium. The receipt above adds up what you actually run.

Is Kotbo a French bot?

Yes. Built, documented and supported in French, with an English dashboard too.

Does Kotbo manage the staff too, not just members?

Yes, that's its thing. The dashboard runs your staff like a real team: hierarchy and ranks tied to Discord roles, time off approved by a superior, meetings, tasks, internal polls, reviews with the manager's rating, recruitment through application forms. All in the subscription, no add-on modules.

Does Kotbo ask for Administrator permission?

No. The invite lists every permission one by one (manage channels and roles, moderate, read the audit log, send messages…), and each one powers a module. You see it all on Discord's screen before you confirm.

Is it free?

For the first 15 days, yes, once per server and with no credit card. Set everything up during the trial, then pick your plan: the price only depends on member count, from €2.50/month billed yearly under 1,000 members.

Go on, kick the other six
