Kotbo 9.2: modules that really switch off, Prestige and Starlight
9.2 makes a module that is turned off really go away, and adds a competitive ladder and a starboard
Included in every plan, with a 15-day trial and no credit card
A module turned off goes away
Turning a module off removes its commands from your server instead of answering with an error. Its events, background jobs and dashboard access stop too, and the modules that depend on it follow
Prestige and Starlight
Two community modules
Prestige
The competitive ladder replaces Ascend, with /prestige: an adjustable tier curve, tier roles created and ordered automatically, promotion and demotion announcements
Starlight
A message that passes a vote threshold is reposted in a dedicated channel, with up to four images
Security and privacy
The rest of the version
- /privacy tells members what data is kept, for how long, and how to get it erased
- A honeypot channel added to the server template, which bans spam bots
- The access role given back to members missed after the captcha
- A voice captcha recorded by real voices, in French and English
- A staff directory that loads much faster
