Everyday commands

Beyond the modules, Kotbo answers a handful of general commands. They are open to every member unless stated otherwise.

+/help

/help opens the interactive help centre: the available commands, sorted by module, with their syntax. That is the reflex to teach your members, rather than keeping a list up to date by hand.

  • /dashboard returns the server’s dashboard link.
  • /info shows the server card, visible to everyone: members, online and bots, owner, boosts, roles, channels, threads, emojis, stickers, rules, when Kotbo joined and active modules.
  • /wiki looks up a page on the community site’s wiki and gives its link.
  • /ping measures the latency.
  • /language picks the bot’s language for the whole server: it requires the Discord Manage Server permission.

  • /reminder create: Schedules a reminder. The temps field takes 15m or 2h as happily as a full date, 12/07/2026-18:00. The message and salon options fill in the rest, and planning ties the reminder to a staff planning item.
  • /reminder list: Your open reminders.
  • /reminder delete: Deletes a reminder by its ID.

  • /stats shows a member’s activity, /serverstats the whole server’s.
  • /invites stats gives a member’s invites, /invites leaderboard the top inviters.
  • /epoch converts a Unix timestamp into a readable date, and back - handy for reading a raw timestamp.

+/privacy

/privacy answers in four blocks: what Kotbo keeps, your rights, how to request deletion and what is retained, and why, with links to the privacy policy and the contact address.

/opt-out presence stops your Discord presence - online status, custom status, activity - from being used on the server where you run it. The choice belongs to that server: you have to repeat it elsewhere, or set it from the dashboard.

  • /ticket drives the ticket the command is run in: claim, close, reopen, lock, archive, delete… Opening one stays available to everyone. See Support tickets.
  • /post publishes the server’s interactive content - the Daily Algo panel, for instance.
  • /event resultat posts the result of an event or a quiz. See Events & quizzes.
